In June 2007, Metropolitan Grand Lodge hosted a unique reception for Freemasons under 35, and it was a huge hit! This event, led by the at-the-time Deputy Metropolitan Grand Master, sparked the idea for the Connaught Club.<\/p>

Today, the Connaught Club is where young Freemasons in London come together. It’s a lively community where members connect, share experiences, and explore the fascinating world of Freemasonry.<\/p>

The Club organises everything from casual meet-ups, to insightful seminars on Freemasonry’s history and significance, to shooting trips and trips abroad. What’s more, the Club has its own Lodge, open to all members. It’s a place where younger Freemasons take the lead, with every role filled by those under 35. It’s not just about meetings; it’s about building friendships and discovering the rich traditions of Freemasonry together.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Objectives of the Connaught Club<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Connaught Club was founded to give young Freemasons in London a means to meet and socialise, with like-minded people of similar ages, within Freemasonry; whilst bridging the large geographic area and diversity of London\u2019s many Lodges.<\/p>

Primarily the Club\u2019s role is to provide events and other occasions, of either a social or (Masonically) educational nature, for young Freemasons to meet each other and encourage their involvement within the fraternity.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We endeavour to encourage and support participation in our Lodges and in Freemasonry. We promote openness and pride in our membership of the Craft and stress the contemporary role Freemasonry plays in modern society, with particular emphasis placed on its relation to the younger generations.<\/p>

Aside from social functions, the Club acts as a representative body for the views of the younger generation of Freemasons.
