{"id":4648,"date":"2015-09-15T14:44:11","date_gmt":"2015-09-15T14:44:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/connaughtclub.ticketu.co.uk\/index.php\/the-thames-to-change-lapel-pin\/"},"modified":"2021-01-06T11:12:27","modified_gmt":"2021-01-06T11:12:27","slug":"the-thames-to-change-lapel-pin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/connaughtclub.org\/index.php\/the-thames-to-change-lapel-pin\/","title":{"rendered":"The Thames to Change Lapel Pin"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.connaughtclub.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Thames-to-Change-pin1.jpg\" alt=\"Thames to Change pin\" class=\"wp-image-3173\" width=\"349\" height=\"349\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>On\u00a0<strong>Saturday, 12 March, 2016<\/strong>, the Club\u2019s fittest and finest members will endeavour to cumulatively\u00a0<strong>row the length of the Thames\u00a0<\/strong>in aid of the mental health charity,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20170712060450\/http:\/\/www.rethink.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rethink Mental Illness,<\/a>\u00a0at the Fulham Reach Rowing Club.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20170712060450\/http:\/\/connaughtclub.org\/thames-to-change-our-201516-charity-endeavour\/\">More details on our Thames to Change challenge here!<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Like the charity event, the Thames to Change lapel\u00a0<strong>pin has been created to raise awareness of the stigma surrounding mental illness and to raise funds for\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20170712060450\/http:\/\/www.rethink.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Rethink Mental Illness<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Created in the Club colours, at just 12mm in diameter and displaying the Thames to Change square and crossed oars logo, these pins look very elegant indeed!<\/p>\n<p>If you can\u2019t (or don\u2019t want to\u2026) row for in the Thames to Change challenge, then\u00a0<strong>please support the Club by purchasing one of these very attractive pins<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>All profits generated from the sale of these pins will be donated directly to Rethink Mental Illness who run services and support groups that change people\u2019s lives and challenge attitudes about mental illness.
