On Saturday, 26th October 2024, the Connaught Club\u2019s attached Lodge, Burgoyne 902, held its annual Installation meeting at Freemasons’ Hall, a cherished event in the Club\u2019s calendar and always a highlight of the year. This year\u2019s ceremony saw former a Club Chairman installed as Worshipful Master in a truly memorable ceremony, with many Committee members also stepping into significant roles within the Lodge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following the formalities, a drinks reception was held in the historic Old Board Room, where Cr\u00e9mant was served, setting the tone for the evening. Brethren took the chance to catch up, sharing reflections on the meeting and celebrating the newly installed officers. The reception was followed by a delightful two-course festive board, during which camaraderie flowed freely, punctuated by the passing of ample port\u2014a traditional touch that ensured spirits remained high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As always, Burgoyne\u2019s Installation was a superb event, one that embodied the essence of the Club.
