====================
Part One: STEPS FOR JO’S
====================
Steps for Jo’s is a 5k walk, or a 10k run around the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford. Registration is between 9am to 10am, and the walk/run starts at 10am. Even the slowest of walkers should be finished by midday by which point we join in the festivities and even have a cold beverage before making our way to Burgoyne well in time for the 5pm start.
=========================
Part Two: Burgoyne Lodge No. 902
=========================
The main event on the agenda is a talk from Prof Andrew Prescott titled “What Happened in 1717?” which, given the proximity of the meeting to the 300th anniversary of the founding of the first Grand Lodge, seems most appropriate. The talk comes highly recommended by The Library and Museum of Freemasonry so I am sure that a very interesting afternoon is in store.
Dining will be at the Radisson Edwardian at a cost of £40, the menu will be confirmed ASAP.
For full details, please see the summons attached below.

MORE IMPORTANT DETAILS
=====================
So – please do consider running or walking with us (so far we have lodge members doing both). To sign up, please visit the Connaught Club team page here: https://
If you can’t make it (which may see your progression in the lodge halted) I am sure the Club would be grateful for your sponsorship. Please see the Just Giving page here: https://
It would be great to have the Lodge and Club well supported, and to show off how freemasonry really does care. I do urge those of you who are available to register for the walk/run. It will be a truly Masonic day out – charity in the morning – followed by our daily advancement – followed by much refreshment!
